A Piece Of My Mind

Humans will always have expectations in their lives. From common people like me to the President-I belive-have expectations too. When we were kids we always expected to have new toys from our parents,at school our parents expected us to be the best students,when we grow up we expect to have a nice car,big house,cool gadgets and good position with a huge salary in our company. What we don’t realize is,that those expectations can give ourselves even others great deal of pressure. Further,I believe that each conflict in our lives even in the whole world came from great expectations on something that failed to come true. Try to figure it out!

Got yelled often by your boss over deadlines,sales targets or dicipline?What’s the point? Expectations,your boss’ expectations to you to fulfill his wishes. Have you ever-or often-scolded a waiter at a cafe for the extra time they give to serve  your orders?What’s the point?Again;expectations! Your expectations to get the best service at that place.

The effects of these expectations can be severe. Thank God if you could understand your boss’ anger,or that waiter could understand yours. ‘Cause if not randomly you will pass your boss’ anger to others. Perhaps your office boy,co-worker,even your family and then they will pass your anger to others too. Like a chain of fire it will spread all over the city,country even the whole world. You can say that I’m too paranoid just,take your time to think of it.

Having expectations and hopes is a must in our lives,as long as they are positive and make sense. Cause hopes is one of God-given fuel in our lives. We will not survive without hopes and expectations in our heart and mind and each minute we expect our hopes to come true. What we must keep up in mind is that when those expectations fail to realized or delayed we have to accept it wisely and lightly. I believe the world can be a better place if all of us can deal with our failed expectations.
