A Piece Of My Mind

Regrets never come on time. It’s always late and painful. We humans are always obsessed with things beyond our reach, amazed by ugly things outside and disowned beautiful things in our hands.

Last night suddenly I missed someone, someone whom I had relationship months ago. Watch her pictures across Sydney’s Opera House made me realize that now she’s far away, thousand miles beyond the sea. I missed her, I missed her room, the time we spent, our laugh, our emotions, our fight, I missed the moments. Moments that now stays on my head. Our moments. Moments that I didn’t know I’ll be missed, of a person I took for granted.

Then It came; regret. like unwanted guest it knocks on your heart’s door, smiles and show it’s ugly teeth and said, ”Hello, I’m back! Did you miss me?” Then it hugged you and did what it’s best; play with your emotions. Yes, It happened again; You Don’t Know What You’ve Got Till You Don’t Have It Anymore. When it came you couldn’t not help your self but try to swallow it. Another mistake remade. How will we put it in our minds that such things are painful? And when we are having ‘something’ in our hands how will we stop from searching for else…? I’m not only talking about relationship only but also other things which we took for granted daily, such as health, job, and other personal belongings like cell phone, PC, TV and such. Should we loose it first then learn? When we experience it will we remember?

Human is full of mistakes, we are very forgetful either. We can’t seems to remember our mistakes instead we repeat the same one(s). Time is our enemy, we can’t own time, we can’t pull it back and we can’t suspend it for even a giga second. We are being dragged by time till one day we become the part of an older time; history. While we still have it, treasure it! Embrace it, and spend it wisely. ‘Coz time won’t remember you, but you will always remember time, the good and the bad ones.
