A Piece Of My Mind

Once upon a time live a beautiful girl who conceals herself in a remote forest far away from other community. Since she got herself a heartbreak long time ago, she never opened her door for any man who’s interested in her.

Until one day. Knock. Knock.

- Who’s there?

+ A person who’d like to offer you his love.

That girl looks through the hole. A handsome man standing on the other side of her door but she doesn’t reply.

The man keep knocking on her door and asking a chance just to talk to her for a while he even say that he’ll love her forever and many beautiful words, but she kept her door locked.

The man keep on knocking and knocking and saying those words repeatedly till the night fall.

To see his persistence she began to melt down and would like to give him a chance.

- Are you sure you’d love me with your whole heart?

+ I am sure, open the door please, let me in and I’ll show you.

That girl hesitates, but she was also attracted to that man.

+ I’ll treat you as my queen and bring you happiness you could never imagine.

She thinks hard but her good thoughts win. She let him in and she was instantly in love with that man.

He knows how to treat her, he told her many stories and adventures and about beautiful far away countries and many places that he had been and promise to take her to those places one day.

After a while, that man leaves but he promised to send her letter everyday.

She let him go sadly with a bit hesitation inside her heart.

The next day a letter came, also the next day and the next day and the next day. It was from him. The girl’s heart bloom again once more. He keeps his promise. So she replies his letters with words she never mentioned for years;

- I LOVE YOU

+ I LOVE YOU TOO

The girl’s heart soars to the sky as she read his reply. A feeling she hasn’t felt for years is inside her again. They exchange letters everyday there was nothing but love they write to each other and a promise that one day no matter what happened they’ll be together unseparated by time or places.

Day and night that man’s face followed her, whatever she does and wherever she goes. She doesn’t conceal herself anymore, she goes to the town and to places she hasn’t been visited for years and everywhere she goes people can see that she’s deeply in love.

Until one day his letters stop to come. She waits and keeps on waiting, while she wrote to him and asks him why he doesn’t write to her anymore.  But there was no reply.

Is he ill? Is he too busy?  Is he going abroad?….Is he dead? Those questions dance on her mind everyday and drive her crazy

In sadness, she conceals herself inside her hut once more. Waiting.
