A Piece Of My Mind

All the girl’s sadness and desperation was noticed by an evil witch who lives in the same forest with her. She needs an apprentice to follow her evil way and to inherit all her evil spells. She thinks that a desperate person is most suitable candidate. She chooses her.

One night she disguised herself as a fairy and visits her while she was asleep. In a glowing light she appears beside her bed.

+ My dear child…what kind of trouble are you in that makes you so sad and desperate?

-Oh..who are you? What are you doing in my hut?

+ I’m your fairy godmother sweetheart, I’m here to help you through any problems you are having.

-Really? I have a fairy godmother?

The girl jump from her bed.

-Can you bring my lost love back my fairy godmother?

+Anything for you sweetheart! First I need a bucket of water to see his well being.

-Of course my fairy.

She ran instantly to get what she needs. The girl doesn’t know that she will be tricked and fooled by the witch. Not long she came back with a bucket of water.

-Here it is my fairy..find him please!

+Patience girl, his image and whereabouts will be displayed on the water, but before that you have to be strong that what you might see will not be something pleasant for you. Understood?

The girl hesitates but she determines to find him.

-I am ready my fairy.

+Now look into my eyes and let me in into your memory.

She does what she told her she look into her eyes, suddenly everything becomes dark and she feels dizzy. The witch does that to capture memories of the man she loves than she will create his image on the water.

+Ok. Now you can see to the water.

Still shaking she starts to look at the bucket, no images at the beginning but then she sees him;

-Oh, my love. He is alive my fairy! Healthy and…

At first she is very happy to see the man she’s in love with is alive but then she gasps. Something she saw next was so painful; a beautiful woman comes to him then hugs and kisses him. They look so happy.

She turns her eyes from the bucket then starts to cry.

The witch smiles behind her back, her first plan runs smoothly. Fake images she creates crushed the girl’s heart instantly. She rushes to get her and hold her kindly.

+I did warn you didn’t I my child? Be patience. You are in my good hands. I will help you to get your new love. Men are hard creatures to trust sweetheart. Women are just toys to them; they’re into lust not love. Only few of them have hearts.

-No! I don’t want to fall in love again. I hate love! I hate men! I want them to suffer!!

She cried in pain.

+Is that what you want, my child? Men to suffer?

-Yes I do. I want all men to suffer.

+It will be done my dear.

Then the witch opens her hand. A black pearl was there.

+I’ll put this charm into your body. It will make you look prettier and your voice will be so lovely and very attractive to man. Blow your breath to them, if his heart filled with lust he will fell into your spell then he will be your slave forever. You can do anything to him. But when his heart filled with love your spell will not effect him. Swallow this pearl!

The girl opens her mouth and swallows the pearl right away.

Nothing weird happens after she swallows it but she feels her body much lighter.

-Then what I do my fairy?

+The charm inside will guide you. You will see it at the next full moon. Prepare yourself.

-I’ll do my best my fairy.

+This is only the beginning my child. I’ll give more to you. But remember; never say I love you again to any man. When you do, the power I’ve given to you will disappear.

-Yes my fairy. Thank you so much!

She disappeared into thin air.

Now there is conflict in her heart. She is not a cruel person that uses to do bad things to other. But the image she saw was unforgettable. She feels fooled and betrayed but still she’s not sure that she could allow herself to do evil things.

The charm she swallowed didn’t allow that for too long. It starts to fills her mind with negative thoughts and reminds her of her pain and heartbreak. Now anger rules above else in her heart.

Full moon is just few days to come. She is ready for anything.
